Bogging down while driving

This one to me is still a weird symptom, but as I'm driving with light constant throttle, the car will feel as if it loses power and bogs down. I will notice the tachometer will not decrease either and will remain at the same place until the car suddenly responds meaning I will feel the throttle kick in and I can resume my speed again.
I notice this happen quite frequently while driving on city streets. At times this happens just after starting from a stop...roughly around the 2000rpm range but this situation happens anywhere in between 2000 and 3000 rpm.

At times when it bogged down I immediately pushed the pedal in as if WOT and no effect, no response.

I've been having this situation ever since I removed and re-installed the intake plenum where I had replaced vacuum hoses, auxillary, bypass valves, and IRIS valve.

I can't quite figure what would be causing this...everything was put back together and double checked, but I wonder if it's a faulty IRIS valve causing this or my MAF is acting up. I didn't replace my EGR valve or any fuel related components, but the fuel filter is 1 year old and the injectors looked clean when I had the manifold off.

No codes show up during any of this.

Can someone help me troubleshoot or lead me in the right direction?

Thank you.

Re: Bogging down while driving

I would go with the maf problem. Get another maf and swap it out to see if it makes a difference. I had similar things happen with mine and had to resolder. Been holding up for years now.

Re: Bogging down while driving

I actually have one I just bought off of a guy and if I had to I would have the part ready to swap. I am curious if it could be something else still.

For something like this would I have to disconnect the battery and let the ECU learn this new MAF? Or is it just plug in and forget it basically?

Nope, swapping MAF did not help

Re: Bogging down while driving

Knock sensors replaced 3 weeks ago, 02 sensors showing no codes.
Checked codes today and there were none.

Wouldn't a bad plug cause rough symptoms?
