So made it from Hope Mills NC to Richmond IN (right across the board from Ohio). I should be able to make it to Iowa somewhere tomorrow. So far the svx has been great.

woohoo after 5 days of driving I made it to Keizer Oregon. I stopped at Mount Rushmore and a few other places along the way. I was extremely happy with my svx, she didn't have one issue on the 3,188 mile trip (of course every fill up included checking fluids etc.). I didn't overheat, use coolant or oil on the trip. I must say Montana was probably the longest state I went though. I literally spent the whole state of Idaho and Washington descending the thousands of feet I went up in Montana. I will put some photos up late for anyone interested. But for the record an 16 year old 170k mile SVX can drive cross country. Now to unpack and unwind after driving for what seemed ages.
