Airbag fuse blowing
Still looking for an airbag main harness for a 95 with dual bags, but before I order an airbag computer, i've noticed the fuse was left out of the airbag socket and the reason being so is because when I put one in there and turn the ignition to read the code, the fuse blows every time.
Can anyone tell me if the computer (airbag CU) would cause that if there was a fault in the computer? This seems to me to be a short in the wiring not the computer, but is it possible a computer unit can do that? |

Get a test light, connect it across the open fuse connector in the box, and start unplugging things, when the light goes out, you've found the part of the circuit that is shorted. I recommend unplugging both air bag units so they don't accidentally fire off while you are working. (disconnect the battery and wait 90 seconds)
