Speaker whine

When I rev the engine I get this whining noise coming out of my rear speakers.. least I think it's my rear speakers. Possibly just the sub. It doesn't happen all the time but has been reoccurring with more frequency as of late. Also, when I turn my volume to 0 or turn off the head unit it makes a loud popping sound. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Interference from a bad ground. You need to go back through and check the grounds on your speaker's, head unit, amp, and sub. Make sure that your grounds aren't crossing by and live wires and if they are relocate the ground so that they aren't.
