Hangar 9 Cessna 182, 95" wingspan. The engine is 2.2 CI, the largest single cylinder model glow engine out there. I plane to custom build some floats for it out of fiberglass.

HA, you guys are nutty. I've always wanted to build a gas car, but the cost, i have more important big people cars to put the money into. Still, looks like a blast.

a LiPo for that little thing?

Wow...

I dont know about LiPo, too high maintenance / risk of burning your house down involved for me.

I haven't heard any horror stories with these little guys. It's a Team Losi pack, good for 180mA. Stock is 150. I'll try to get some video with the phone when I get back to work on Thursday.

The Traxxs Tmax had some great videos back when it first came out...
The helicopters are really popular here where I work....about 6 different guys have them and you have to make sure you have extra sets of blades....get a training kit or tons of spare parts
