it has 160000km on it so bout 100miles, my mate rekoned id do better times if i tried different launch approach

Got a check engine light on the way home. It's only the O2 sensor though.

I thought the 2-3 hops/spin was normal but Tom tells me that should not be the case. So...those issues I mentioned above need to be addressed over the winter.

If all is addressed, I'd like to add a ProTorque high stall speed torque converter.

BTW: Does the XT6 and SVX share the same torque converter? Sorry if it is a stupid question but my FWD XT6 has a Protorque converter so if they are alike.....
Kevin,
are you sure you've got AWD? My passenger side front tire lit up on me at the strip when my solenoid C was bad (still have the melted rubber on the rim face). Your torque steer might be tied to the fact that you probably have a bad driver's side front axle (clicking sound). Is the Level 10 PTS hydrosystem just an improved valvebody?

It feels like the rear tires initially catch since the tires do stop spinning but maybe it is the heavy front that actually catches. I know the AWD did not work on the dyno the last two times I tried so maybe it is shot.

That is one helluva trap speed for an N/A SVX......FWD or not. Nice!

FWD's should have higher trap speeds. My 13.9 was clocked at 96 I believe and my 14.5 n/a run was also high 95's. You should be in this area and I am surprised to see otherwise.

Thumbs up i agree

...and a taller tire would take care of traction w/ fwd, making it the fastest NA car. hypothetically you could put "BFG Drag Radial 2" 255/50r16 for $150ea. on the stock rims and 215/60VR16 on the back, but also on the front when not at the track. no more fender gap and superior wet and snow traction with long treadwear and a comfortable ride, not to mention a higher top speed. someone with a 4.44 auto FWD and toms upgrades could see 100 mph trap speeds.
