haha the landshark/shadow fights are awesome... It's like watching the special olym....

nevermind.

whats actually funny is how similar you two are, just with slightly different tastes in cars... if one of you happened to like the others car, you could be best buds. Think of the talk show... "ex-car enemies, now best friends for life"

Here's a list of companies that make a nice V-8:

Porsche
Mercedes-Benz/AMG
BMW/M
Cadillac (Northstar)
Chevrolet (LS2, LS6, LS7, etc...)
Ferrari/Maserati (when they actually work)
I'd add Aston-Martin's 5.9L, but is actually two ford 3.0L V-6s on a common crank.

Is it just me or is all the hoopla over the new Jag XK overdone? It looks like a 7/8 scale DB9.

Kieth Black still builds the 1000 ci pluss HEMI for all the chevy and ford guys to put in their funny cars, ( so they can compete) with the Dodge boys!!

The 500ci Keith Black motor has about as much to do with Dodge as NASA does. And while the late 60's Hemi was a nice motor, the 427ci Chevy made more power 426-435, and both numbers were lower then actually measured. The 426 was estimated at around 480, while the 427 was closer to 510. As long as they both trounce ford, it's ok with me.

Still using the 'design'!!! We used to put them in dirt trackers!! It was fun!!

I really miss my 'mentor', he's been gone for about 10 years..He showed me 200 MPH before 'sugar' took him to a place that the best option he had was a 12 guage........( in his mind) George Nicholas Krnaya, ( Nick-the-Greek)1948-1995,200 mph plus club

Top fuel limits the CI for the engines to 500 cid.
And I would like to see someone try and swap parts between a KB top fuel engine and a chrysler hemi.

You forgot to mention the 1964 Ford 427 SOHC FE engine that put out 615HP at 7000 RPM with single 4-barrel and 657HP at 7500 RPM with dual carbs. Of course the top fuel supercharged drag version introduced in 67 produced 8000 HP. Now that is some power!!!!
