Hmmm...interesting. In Quebec, I believe you have to pay the lawyer (broke my back there and my lawyer checked about a lawsuit). In the rest of the provinces, it can work on contingency. (Or is it the other way around? Sorry, off topic) But this documentary was saying that's not the case in the States, thus the prolific amount of lawsuits there, way more than other countries.
Goody, something to do tomorrow if I'm bored...find out where this info came from!

working in the food industry i can tell you that it is always good to know if someone has an issue but checks are not going to fly into your mailbox over it. Expect some coupons and a nice form letter. They might even want you to return it to them so they can see where it came from (for repairing equipment or firing people)

Since I work in the Chocolate industry....care to tell us what you were eating? This could be interesting.

It was a Milkyway mini bar.
I've been too busy all week to call. But will make it next week for sure. Dont want any kids getting ahold of one of these, but I think its highly unlikely that anyone would. Its probably a one in a million chances and I happened to be that one.

eat all the milkyway bars just to make sure they are safe. Eat each and every one of them if you were closer I'd help just in the name of science.

Reminds me when I was growing up me and my mon went to Safeway shopping. Well she asks me to go pick out a block of cheese and when I pick it up notice there is a fly(alive and well) buzzing inside the vacuum sealed packageAlso a few years ago we bought some Nestle Quik chocolate milk and when we got home I proceeded to pour a glass for my son which he guzzled down. I then noticed my glass had these blue-green mold chunks floating up to the top. My son hasnt drank chocolate milk since. We got about $75 worth of free groceries to avoid the legal matter with Krogers.
