CPC for Plastic and Glass
Went by NAPA Auto Parts to get some Mothers for the headlights and they talked me into trying CPC 5 Min Headlight Restorer. Must say it worked great with little effort. You get a 2-1/2" disc that fits in a 1/4" drill and a box of adhesive backed foam discs impregnated with the polishing compound. A variable speed hand drill is best to keep below the 1200 rpm limit recommended. Mist the disc with water and polish with a back and forth motion. They also have a 5 Min Restorer for glass which may be the ticket for those streaks on the side windows. Luckily I don't have that yet.

make sure to keep lots of wax on them after you polish them. It will help to keep them from yellowing.

Failed to take any before pics. Will do so when doing the Mustang. It's lights are really yellow. Don't know if it is a good sealant but I put Rain-X on when I was done.

I have purchased this as well. It works pretty well but I found my lights to get yellow again. I did it right before the shore meet and they are in need to another restore session.

Maybe after using this product you can spray some clear coat on it to keep it from yellowing? IDK if it would affect the light though.

I tried that. I wasn't very impressed. After trying that I decided to go for the tried and true method...wetsanding. Wet Sanding, then polishing by hand yielded much better results.

I would use 2000 at first then 4000 for the final sand. Then use a polishing/buffing compound.

I've had success with 400 dry palm -> 800 wet block -> 1000 wet block -> 1500 wet block -> buffing wheels on a die grinder
