My next set will come directly from the local hydro shop. A couple of friends have had stuff made ther for Vespas and the like with amazing quality, a local place to take it back to if you would have any issues plus a price that can't be beat esp considering these were for visable areas.

Where is this shop? In PA?
The plastic ends cracked on mine and popped the line off! It might be SS on the outside but it's plastic tubing inside. Original Subaru Rubber hose is my choice.

Remember there's a reason why rubber has been used for over 100 years in hydro lines. The ss is only to help keep the lines from expanding giving you a better petal feel compared to aged rubber. Motorcycle company's (at least Honda) recommends you replace the brake lines ever 4 years!). There are 2-3 hydro shops in Lancaster alone. You should be able to fine one locally in the phone book. These places will custom make anything you need. Just take your old hoses in and they'll be good to go. Some places prefer to cut and reuse you're connectors as the right pitch and diameter is tough to come by sometimes others don't as they have a larger stock of parts.

If a shop fabricates the hoses for you, what do you do about the mounting brackets? How do you attach the hose to the suspension?

They'll put any mounting bracket set up in there that you want. Of course each addition adds cost to the line.

Just got my SS lines on today with my ENDLESS racing pads from japan! I'll let you all know. The mountings on the lines I got(dayles) look really sturdy.

defect its under warranty.
Ive sold about 50 sets just last yr and this is the first ever
brought to my attention.
