Steering column click when cold

So when I start my SVX, and first drive it, there is a click coming from the steering column everytime I turn the wheel. It goes away once the car is fully warm, but its annoying, and pretty loud. Does anyone have any idea what it is? It started recently, now that the temperature has been dropping (its -8 outside right now).

Also, I keep hearing everyone talking about how hard it is for them to start an SVX in the cold, but every morning, I start it up after sitting all night, and the temperature is never more then about 15 degrees, and normally is around 0 (as of the last week or so). I havent had a single hard start, it always starts right up. I wonder why...

Heat index of -50 F the last two mornings and the remote starter fired it right up using the ~1.5 seconds of turning the starter that it uses. Never ever had a problem with cold starts here.
