What The F(&*$%&$&*^%*&
Ok, this really isnt about an SVX but I kinda need to blow off some steam. Ok I posted on here a while back that our house was robbed, and really that happend 3 times in a few months period. So now... my dad went to the Tacoma WA mall and went into sears for half an hour, then came back out to find that our truck had the window smashed in, and the stereo stolen. Now this stereo was not to be removed with ease, and you needed a special tool to get it out, yet that didnt stop them. They smashed in our dash to get it out. And to top it off they took a lap top, a cell phone and a book of cd's. However they couldn't get the sub nor the amp out, only because this was a special order stereo system from Ford. This is really messed up to have this happen 4 times in about 5-6 months. Ill get some pics posted up of what the car looks like asap, and tell ya if anything else was taken. Sorry this is kind of long but I have no one else to talk to. ~Dennis

Here are a few pics before it was broken into, the outside pic isnt the same as ours though, ours has a super cab (the frame in the back goes out over the wheels, not like this one)

well heres the damage
 , they couldn't get the stereo out but it has to be replaced anyways, they did get the lap top and the phone, but those belong to the state so they'll probablly get rid of them.

I had somebody break into my truck several years ago. They removed my stereo in pretty much the same fashion. It's not about having or not having special tools, it's about getting in and out quickly.
I had left my truck at the Albany, NY train station and had to drive back to Burlington, VT that night. That's about three hours, missing a window, in below-zero temperatures. It sucked. Sorry that you've had such bad fortune lately. Here's to better luck in the future.
