The "Brake" Light comes on when you use the handbrake or when the fluid is low. The "Stop Light" light comes when there is a rear brake light bulb burnt out. I don't know if a few bad LED's would do it or not???

Right you are Hocrest!

That kid at McDonalds this AM must've smoked his breakfast,
because there was a light out. I just bought new bulbs and am good to go!
Thanks to all!

No problem...

Once you check for voltage at the pump, if you still need another pump send me a PM with an offer.

I should've checked it. I bought a new pump and it still doesn't work!
I don't see any wire damage, and yes the fuse is fine.

Ummmm. Hi. My name is Tim. I am an idiot. I've been an idiot
for awhile. Ever since I started thinking that the right side steering wheel stalk that has "mist" printed on it.....indicating to me at least, that pulling
on it in the direction of the arrows that are also printed, would squirt
washer fluid. I never suspected the button with "rear window washer" printed near it...would actually spray the windshield! I mean, who sprays the rear window? Anyway, I replaced a perfectly good sprayer motor for nothing!
I now know that "mist" is for when you want the wipers to cycle only once!
I always hated how it would swing an extra time...usually destroying the previous clean sweep, when just poppin' it on and off. Aw c'mon...am I
the only person that just figured this out?! I am psyched!

K.I.S.S. Glad you found it though. It is almost always the simplest thing. I haven't heard of too many subaru pumps actually going aside from the XT headlight washers.

Don't worry, you aren't the only person to make this mistake. I didn't but I know of at least one "seasoned" member did this as well.

Hi All,

I seem to be having a problem with my windshield washer fluid spray as well...although I'm sure it's not the 'rear window washer' feature! The nozzles are definitely clogged (anyone got red oem ones for sale?), but also, it seems that the adapters connecting the hoses to the nozzles seem to be clogged as well (there seems to be a BB or something in one of them!). When I remove the nozzles and the adapters, it will spray just fine out of the hoses. I've already checked Kragen for the replacement adapters but they don't seem to have anything. Any help you guys can provide will be appreciated! Thanks!

Angry

try using a pin for the nozzles themselves. and/or if you do have a compressor. air pressure can help out. it works

unless you want to try a DIY adapter take apart/reassemble.
