I spend that much a week. I also drive like 1500 miles a week. But I bill that back to the office.

The highway part may be the main thing... I'm never on the interstate, and there are a bunch of red lights between home and work/University. Emphasis on that red part. I go east to west and versa... It's obvious all the rich folk with political clout go north to south and versa. East/West is backed up, and North/South is clear.

I think the gas quality is not the same. I have notice less miles per galon. I used to get 340 miles per tank and now I only get 240.... that really suck specially when we end up paying at least 1/3 of gas price just on taxes!!!!!.

When you say per tank is that all 18 gallons or just to the E line?

I've been keeping a compehensive log of my fuel purchases and MPG for several months now and have to say, man, what a difference the highway makes. Best: 30+ MPG on sixty-something mile interstate run through Atlanta. Worst: 16 MPG; typical workweek driving with no freeway miles. The latter doesn't surprise me, but I'm continually amazed that a car like the SVX can consistently run in the high twenties on the highway (and I don't mean at 55 MPH).

i'm sad to say it is gone. had to plan to make teh ginormous mortgage payment on my own. the new car payment is less than half of teh legacy. besides i had major issues with the uncomfortable seats and the awful automatic climate control system.

since my fuel gauge is not working a fill the tank when the fuel light turn on.... I put about 16 gallon every time. Before the gas prices were this high the most I ever put was 15 gallons. ABOUT $$30.00

So you're saying you're not getting as many gallons as the pumps are indicating now?

That's a dilly of a banana.

All I can say is get your fuel gauge fixed.

I don't think I've ever had to put much more than 15 gallons in.
