Sure it needs it? I was ready to replace mine, with the help of these guys I replaced the O ring and new belts and tightend them properly it steers better now than it did 10 years ago.

I would have rather spent the $500 on something else.

$500 for a PS pump ouch! I just bought a rebuilt one. I had the same leaky high pressure hose. It killed the bearings in the pump.

Autozone, Advance, Napa all had the same remanufactured pump (Cardone) for $99 after core. Not sure if you like remanufactured stuff. Some folks don't. I got pissed when I relized I could have had the High pressure hose built by a hydraulic company for 1/2 of what I payed the dealer for a new hose. Oh well, live and learn.

Well i tryed to get one from autozone, orielys, napa but the only one that had one was Autozone but it didnt fit. And the hoses i just had remade at a hose company here where i live they did a pretty good job. Still got the old pump wonder if i can do anything with it?
