AC broken, Okay to leave disconnected?

As the title says, My AC broke. Seems like my compressor gave up. It was allready making a ticking sound before it broke. One day i open my hood to find the AC belt snapped in half, along with metal shavings on my AC compressor.
pictures- Here

Anyway my question is, will there be any problems if i just leave everything as is (no AC ) and just drive around, or will there be some problems if i dont discharge the system or something?

Doubt i'll fix it anytime soon, never gets that hot up here.

Leaving it as is won't cause any problems. Without a belt to turn it the compressor will just sit there. There's no reason to discharge the system either.

The AC system also de-fogs your windows. So you may find it a tad difficult to get rid of foggy windows with a broken AC system.
