Hail damage and State Farm Insurance
The other night here in Central PA we had a bit of hail. My SVX took a little bit of a pelting. I now have a few hail dents on various body pannels. I reported it to state farm under my comprehensive coverage today. I was just wondering if they will cooperate or will I get a run around? Will it matter if my paint isn't the greatest to start. It would be really cool if I could get the whole car painted to match but I'm not holding my breath.

FWIW
A colleague of mine's wife is a lawyer. Her firm represents, among others, State Farm when they have to go after someone to recover damages, or vice versa. It is her opinion that they are better than most in treating their policy holders fairly. That doesn't mean they will just dump money on you, though. Good luck.

If you have fully comprehensive insurance, then I would say yes, But you will have to pay your deductable if you have one. I have state farm and my SVX was broken into last week. I filed a claim and they said damage to the vehicle would be covered as well as items stolen that were attached.
Good Luck Dave
