So, Dart, do you think your wife'd let you borrow the pearly for a meet next weekend? Maybe we could get Huck, also. Wow, three pearlies and a polo (or is it "emerald pearl?") would make an interesting get together.
As far as I know I have next saturday off so it depends on the when and the where. I'll keep watchin' for further updates.

It looks as though my next weekend is gone. Last week I got a note from Pop that his brother decided to let everyone know that he was diagnosed with leukemia in '96 and is down to his last 2-6 months. Pop just got to Cincinnati today and will be there through the week, so I'll be going there Friday night.

Sorry to hear about that Beav. Both my parents were diagnosed
within 2 weeks of each other with the big C in 1999. Its a horrible disease.

Thanx and sorry to hear that. Stuff like that takes a toll on everybody involved. Nature's cruelest trick is our being cognizant of our own mortality.

Beav,
I'm sorry to hear it. Another time, perhaps. I think, maybe, I'll go to Bowling Green and visit family instead.

I just lost an uncle last week. I couldn't go to the memorial service because my car wasn't done. The uncle and I weren't really close, but, I wanted to be there for my dad. Maybe he and I can visit -- my dad and I haven't really been close over the years, but, he's beginning to "try" to communicate in his latter years. Maybe this will be a weekend of breakthrough for us.

Be careful on your trip. Catch you next time.
