Question Wht would be the result?

Hi guys,

Yeah this is purely off topic, but related to prestige of subaru as far as i concern.

while i was on other forum, the question araised between prelude vs wrx

so wht you guys think abt the results?

From stand point Prelude vs STi - Result ()

From Roll Prelude vs STi - Result ()

on tht forum those people are really underestimating wrx. Even a guy posted tht he had killed a STi with his integra and then a prelude guy did the same thing. On watching the video, we can straight away come to a conclusion tht the wrx guy is not really racing his car. Even they r stating that wrx is overrated for nothin and there is absolutely nothin in it.

Give me your opinions with ur supporting answer.

-Pavan.

You should be used to reading stuff like that by now. A stock WRX has a 0-60 time of around 6 seconds and the STI about 4.8 seconds. Stock preludes don't come close to that. More than likely the Prelude is heavily modified and has NOS straight out of daddy's wallet.

If it's stock vs stock the Prelude doesn't have a chance.

I don't recommend trying to defend Subaru either...especially if it's a Honda forum. All you're going to do is start a flame war. We've seen it here.

yep u r 100% right, i know STi is very capable of taking over prelude straight from its fact file. But those people cant even realize and not even think once before they talk.

Regarding flame, yep it did happened on v6performance network. But atlast i made them to realise tht wrx is not a dummy but it has got a great stuff inside it. But still they r insisting tht they can kill a STi from the roll. The funny thing is, tht integra guy, i was not able to stop laughin on seein his post. Where STi and where Integra, even a kid can tell which will win in those.

But as far as i came to realize tht the honda fan people are really crazy abt their cars and they imagine tht anything is possible with their cars and they even think tht their technology is the farmost best technology int he world than any others of other brands. Thts wht i came to know from their network.

The biggest problem I have with Honda is the V-tech thing. The idea of V-tech is that you can have low RPM tourq with high RPM HP, BUT Hondas make no low RPM tourq, WHY?

That and they are only FWD, WTFIT?

Agreed. Recent mag tests put the 5MT WRX at around 6.0 seconds 0-60mph...however, 5.6-5.8 seconds are possible with an agressive launch. Their 1/4 mile times are around 14.2-14.5 seconds @ 96mph.

Stock preludes do 0-60mph in ~6.8-7.0 seconds with low 15 sec 1/4 mile times @ 92 mph.
