Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
No lights at all on mine, and I've never had an issue with it dieing...might try to adjust your TPS a little to increase the idle speed...

That only works for about 3 starts then the ECU compensates for the TPS adjustment.

Im going to be trying to find these wires today but I've never had a light lit up on my dash and i have the nss switch wired up from the old tranny harness...Just curious if anyone had luck with this

If you look at the ECU pinout, the only pins on the ECU related to the 4eat shifter position are pins B60-9 and B60-10 which are parking and neutral position inputs, respectively. Thus, the ECU only knows if the tranny is either in Neutral or Park. In a standard 5MT install, these pins become ungrounded and automatically hold a voltage. So, by default, the ECU thinks the car is in D, 1, 2, or 3. This can be verified by looking at the ECU and TCU diagrams. If you compare the ECU and TCU wiring diagrams, you'll find that causing the "D" light to illuminate on the dash has no effect on either the Park pin or the Neutral pin. The difference that svxcess noticed wasn't due to enabling the "D" light but due to ungrounding the Neutral pin on the ECU.

It doesn't help the stalling for me but it does correct the high idle when cold and it also disables my cruise. I'm going to wire a switch in my interior to toggle this setting.

The Lights in the instrument cluster are wired to the shifter, not the NSS...that's why they never light up, the shifter is unplugged.
