Sorry to hear about the engine but glad to see that they are sending you a replacement.

The roads of Eire will not be safe!!

*much better to tour Ireland in than the Pug 206 that we rented....now there's a plan!!*

Note to all: Cassie refuses to listen to merits of SVX as a European tourer and is only succeeding since there is nowhere on the street to park it!

Was back in Sydney for a while but not hot enough so now in Dubai! Has it been that long since I owned SVX-33H!

Red face

Yes, Todd

It's been interesting.

How Ann is taking it. Well, you remember last year when Wendy graduated? [Or was it two years ago??] Ann is now a summa cum laude graduated Ph D in "I told you so"

Being more than a little disappointed myself, I can understand her frustration, but by no stretch of the imagination could you call it supportive. She has even tried using the experience as a platform for never buying a car from Japan again.

Like Job, I set my face like flint. It remains a mystery to me how anyone whose primary requirement from a car is economy would even bother to advise someone whose principal requirement is power and speed.

Chalk and cheese. Different planets. Venus and Mars.

Different Solar system more like.

Hi! James

Good to see that Cassie is keeping you on the straight and narrow. But check the last post. Heh......

Let me know when you are going touring. If I have the Legacy up and running, I might have an SVX or two to spare!

Joe

Wendy got a kick out of your reply Joe! She graduated in '02 and we reminisce on Ireland often.

I live with the differences daily, however my wife appreciates a strong kick in the backside when she depresses the loud pedal

Good job on remaining resolute. Fight the good fight!

Todd

Now we are talking. Remaining resolute. I like that.

It's not so much of a war. More like drawing up the drawbridge against guerilla skirmishes.

Say hello to Wendy, glad you guys are keeping well.

My friends in Japan are currently looking for an engine for me.

When I get my new engine, the roads of Ireland will be a little bit different, but I hope not any less safe. If you have seen pictures of my Legacy, the paint is a kind of Brilliant White. I am thinking of naming it the White Effluent.

Whaddya think?

Hi Chike

Yeah Thanks. I will take a few digital pics of the car with the engine out when putting the new motor in.

Should be interesting!
