This concept was in the engineering journals and trade magazines about 10 years ago. Back then, it was being fostered by a bunch of engineers from Lockheed in California.

How it works:
Step 1: plug into wall outlet to allow electric motor to pump air into the storage tank(s?) Step 2: unplug and drive on compressed air for a while Step 3: repete steps 1-2 untill you reach your destination. that being said it can go like 70 miles on a single tank.

That seems like it wouldn't go all that far...
 Even with the 5,000psi nitrogen tanks.... What does everyone think about them??? Think they could make one pass through "The Dragon" without running outta Air???
