96 Diagnosis Code P1702TCM help
Hi All,
My tranny shop is done with the manual swap, but is battling with CE codes on my 96. It doesn't use the 2 digit codes that are quite available on searching the board here. Can anyone help me out with this code and also point me to a resource? Please help, I want my 5 speed 4.11 baby back. Subezealot

P1702 is:
"Automatic transmission diagnosis input signal circuit malfunction". You guys don't have the tranny ECU still plugged in, do ya?  Dave

Good question. I hope not, but I'll check. Sometimes its the most obvious that's missed.
