Yeah, I actually paid attention when I got to work this morning and noticed it is indeed four beeps, not three, with security off. (Geez, I only drive this car EVERY DAY...)

The first day I got my SVX , I used the alarm feature (I think) at the parking garage in a big mall. I parked my car and went looking for my wifes friends car (just happend to be a Legacy). When I went back to my car I realized I had left the window wide open (Or half open) Looking back I'm not sure I even had the alarm set or not. It would have been great to get my new car stolen on the first day becouse I left it open




















BTW: The alarm system seems to react to the last command it remembers. ie. Even if you lock the doors manually, when you use the remote it will lock the doors again first.
