I think $4,000 for a 92 with more than 100K is more than fair! Take a look on Ebay and see how many SVX's sell for less than that....there are a lot of them. Some are even newer and have less mileage. The sad fact is that there really isn't a good market for SVX's, so unless your car has less than 100K and is in GREAT shape, you won't get much for it.

In North Carolina, The Law states that the Insurance Companies MUST provide you with enough money to replace the car at its Fair Market Retail Value. The fact that the SVX is a rare car means that if it is in excellent condition, they ae high valued cars. I talked to our local Subaru Dealership, and he told me that, before the wreck, he would have valued it at over 6,500.

I lost my insurance cards. I needed them to fill out this form, that will now become late.
Woe is me.

Man, today was great. Got some easy overtime at work, gassed up, went to Subaru and got props on the SVX, and anchorage flood warnings are in effect according to Weatherbug.

Sweet.
When I pulled up and went inside Subaru, the first thing two salesman said were "That's a pretty sweet ride you got there" which was cool.
I'm like "Yeah, it was, before..."
Them: "Oh I couldn't tell."

Rain rules. Especially the heavy ass 'no longer need to wash it' rain.

I'm going to disconnect the battery and see if it disables the limp feature, if it is indeed activated, and hopefully if something is wrong it will reactivate before Friday.

Like I said, $4,000 for a 92 is fair.

Dave

they took my quote straight from KBB.com, and if you go to {"used car retail value", you will get around 6,200 for a 92 LS-L with the Touring Package, but the past is the past, no use in griping about it......

Subaru guy said insurance goes off of NADA.

Got me some proof of insurance. Time to get the ball rolling.

Rain fries your 600W JBL when water leaks into your mangled trunk that you can't open.
Remember this.

Think I can get a little extra for the damaged hardware?
