NEED HELP ASAP!!!!.... Adobe Premiere... (Video Editing)

I am truley at the mouth of Niagra Falls without any gas in my boat... .... Here's what's happening... I had a video presentation that I was putting together with one of my other work computers... Well yesterday NMCI found a Virus on that computer and confiscated it from me inorder to clean it and make sure that the virus didn't spread... The only thing that I have left is this computer and it has Adobe Premiere on it... I've been fighting with this program for days and weeks trying to figure it out and I am on my last straw!!! I need Editing help from anyone that has used Adobe Premiere 6.0 before... Hell any fersion of Premiere will be fine... I just need help!!! The presentation is on Friday and it is infront of a whole bunch of "Shiny's"(Officers)!!!

Please, if ya know anything about this program lend the hand... I usually edit on Macs so I am lost here!!!!

I haven't used Premiere since version 4 on the Mac but the PC version is suposed to be pretty similar. If you already have the video digitized/copied on to the machine it isn't radically different from working in Final Cut Pro. Premiere is just...clunkier. This link might help: http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/frame/resou...w_to/premedit/

Got any notes on duration of the final video, number of transitions, number of clips, etc? More info always helps

Sorry, I'm very busy through tonight so I might not be able to respond again until tomorrow morning; good luck!

That's the thing... I'm trying to add transitions and for some reason everthing that I do it isn't applying the transitions... There should be approximately 160 transitions including 4 mixed audio tracks (But I think I have a grasp on that stuff ok).... The things that are really giving me a hard time are the Transitions...

Thanks for the website, I'll check it out

OH MY GOD!!! That was so 'EFFING EASY!!!!! I can't believe that I didn't think of that!!!!! I was doing it right the whole time. But I was wondering why my transitions wouldn't show up... It was because ya have to Render the work area before transitions appear... I can't believe it!!! Hahahaha.... Thanks to all of ya that provided me with the help.. .You can believe that I'm a very happy person now... Now I just have alot of work to do

what do you expect for a 7 BILLION DOLLAR IT Contract? Its only the largest IT contract in history

www.nmci-isf.com then click services, then the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) and look what you pay MONTHLY for a seat!!

for the highest end seat, its $246.51 a MONTH... granted there is a LOT included in that price... but DAMN!!
