What leaves me cold in a new car/truck
Different sized wheels/tires front to rear. (ok on a street rod)
Huge wheels and tire sizes with no commonly available replacements to select from (i.e. only one tire that will work) and good luck! finding one (or, a set?) New, unproven technology without a corresponding long-term (say 250K) FACTORY WARRANTY on this component provided to all owners (i.e. 4 wheel drive CVT's, BMW computer-controlled everything, anti-skid, anti-rollover, anti-dive & Auntie Em, Auntie Em!!!) "Factory Maintenance" for the 1st 36K : then the warranty runs out and you are on your own! Depreciation (in the real world) bordering on 50+% in the 1st three years (just about when the lease/warranty runs out) $35,000 cars with no sunroof. " " leather seats $8,000 worth of options on a $35,000 car = a $43,000 car Comes with On Star! FREE! (for a year) DVD entertainment centers & Navigation Systems Just venting!

Good points...
<"Factory Maintenance" for the 1st 36K : then the warranty runs out and you are on your own!>
I know Hyundai is trying to woo folks over with that super-warranty, but good grief.....if they can offer 100k miles, what is the matter with everyone else? Don

i wouldn't want dealer oil changes or simple maintenance i could do myself- i took the SVX in to the Subaru dealer to have the coolant flushed (and new T-stat and temp sensor) and when i got home, i noticed the hood wasn't latched. luckily, i just had to drive through the suburbs to get home. if i had to get on a highway, that freakin' hood could have flew up!!! i could have potentially been killed, killed someone else, or both in a nice accident. hard to believe a Subaru dealer can be sofa king stupid.
