well the paint job went really good. i am disssapointed that i had to miss it but i think that ill go to that regional one that you guys were talking about. see you guys soon.

Who's Pearlie was that that had the fog lights and the diffrent bumper cover??? It looks awesome!!! So does everyone elses too!!! what was that gold looking one?!?!?! I've never seen that color before!!!! Wow, I'm gonna have a blast at Reading this year!!!!! can't wait!!!

That's Michelle's (thndrmtn92svx) Penny - it's actually copper.

The Pearlie with the lights is Marks car (Zepplin).
The gold one is really copper....it is Michelles' car.
We had a total of 9 fine cars, and 12 great people....did a great drive , drank some beer, and saw a very good comedy show. It was great to see some friends from the 10th meet, and meet some new ones. Wish you could have been there!

My Pearlie performed perfectly!

BTW: I was a Green Marine ! Semper Fi

Cool, good to hear that you were in the marines.... But remember you are still a Marine!!!

Anyway I'm gonna be at Reading this year... Can't quite go all the way to Colorado fo just a weekend... Sorry.. Anyway have fun out there in that cold weather that you are probably having!!!!

P.S. Did you go to Parris Island or San Diego??? Not that it matters or anything, just wondering..

I had a safe ride home. I hope everyone else did too. Snowboarded on the way.

When do we go to a track for a little gymkana driving?! I'd put money down on SQUEAKY for the win! Love it!

I understand the importance of this board now...It is a long way between the SVX's. Thanks for sending that e-mail, Michelle. I'm very glad I met everyone. Colorado National Monument was fanstastic. I can't wait go get back there for some exploration on foot.

Gee, I would have liked to have gone on the drive. It was still great to have been able to be with everyone. I did have a chance to go through some snow on the trip though! It was fun. If you have a chance, use the Zepplin Bed and Breakfast place. It was great! Good breakfast, and as I ate, my car was being cleaned up for me!

Looks like you guys had a great meet.

Michelle, I had read rumours before the 10th you were changing colour on Penny, but never saw any pics. That colour is totally superb!!!

Glad also you had the courage to retain the dark roof and bootlid. Also, your spoiler on the back does not look as out of balance as it does on most of the one-colour cars. Grrrreat job!

Also, at the far end of second photo is a white next to a blue[Laguna?] car. Are the other two blue cars nearer the camera a different shade of blue, or are these known as Teal or Polo or Submarine Green or something?

Have never seen these other colours in the flesh, and it's hard to trust the colour rendition in photos. At the UK meet we had white black claret and silver. That's all the colours I have seen.

**** ya some meets goin on around the USA that is what I like to see! I fancy a trip down to the Four Corners area some time, I would probably drive my SVX bite the bullet and put some miles on that baby. If you ever get a meet goin give a holler ya!

That would be Teal which I think is a blueish green (aquamarine)

One is mine and the other one belongs to a guy named Stephen
A great guy that showed up there after Michelle emailed him...
