new Speedo cluster idea

Looking at a new idea for doing the gauge cluster
on the svxs...
will cost more then the now avaiable Glow gauges we
offer, but these wont be a lay over.
These will be professionally done replacement lenses
A little nicer then the layover glo's currently avail.
Just checking to see if I can get them actually made and
how many we have to buy upfront.
One is silver aluminum face and the other is
Aqua finish.

Re: new Speedo cluster idea

first two aren't bad, it'd be cool to have a set up similar to the new legacy gts etc.

Re: new Speedo cluster idea

I'm not feeling those gauges at all.

I do like the Legacy gauges though.

good taste would be maybe coming up with a good idea to sell, not just trying to sell anything a person can think of... maybe something that deserves merit?

Re: new Speedo cluster idea

Any chance of an aftermarket gauge cluster that does not have such a new look? Something a little more fitting for the stock interior...although different color schemes?

If that was the case I would be interested, but these ones are simply not my style.

EDIT: Ones that had Speedo, Tach, Oil Pressure, Coolant Temp, and a Tranny temp gauge's would be sooooo awesome...

Re: new Speedo cluster idea

I like the look of the first two. What colors and lighting were you thinking about doing?

Re: new Speedo cluster idea

some of those gauges would be nice, but .......

do you really want red or blue illumination to go with the green and amber lights on the stock climate controls and other buttons?

it would look like Rainbow Brite puked all over your interior.

i remember the 2004 STi with red instrument cluster lighting and green lighting for the everything else.

We can also put the SVX logo on them too if we want.
I too looked at these to literally, I was like naw that might look wrong, but if what you say is true it might look fairly good.

again, theres more negative comments then positive..
honestly, it seems more like less people have the extra
income to actually do it, then everyone would be for it
but thats not the case.
Ive seen these in person on a variety of cars at SEMA
and the look is amazing.

bump for a good idea that could use some support. I still am for a Legacy style with either alcyone horns or svx logo
