In PA, it's just a flat 36 per car plus a yearly inspect fee of around 57...

I'm just glad that my car passed Maryland emissions inspection. I knew it would, I'm just paranoid sometimes I guess.

It's nice being able to do it online here. Probably the same for most states by now, but still $78.12 for two years.

What bothers me is stuff like:
Veterans have to pay extra for a VT tag, yeah, thanks for that. Your welcome for my time.
Firefighters have to pay extra for a special tag. Again, your welcome.
And so on.

I would like to have a Veteran's tag, but not at an additional 90% of what the normal cost of a tag is. PER YEAR. If anything, this should be a one time cost.

If I sound like a whiner, just remember there are others out there making sure you can sleep in peace at night.
