Ben, I trust you understand we are making jokes about it to cheer you up, you got a bad doing man and I hope the cops stick it to that DUI driver.

Keep smiling and keep getting better and I hope you are home soon.

Indeed. The thought of that just made me cringe. I hope you have a speedy recovery. People are truly horrible, and I learn this more and more on a daily basis.

Tom, I'm guessing by your roll eyes sarcastic smiley that you are aware this is an ageist remark from Ben. As they sometimes say round here:

"I resemble that remark!"

Who indeed would want to be incarcerated with a lot of old people reminding one what the future might be like, up the ways a bit.

I hear the youth in Asia have a good way of dealing with this.

Joe

Re: Benebob was in an accident

****THIS WILL BE IN TUESDAYS PAPER***** (clipped from Lancasteronline.com)

MANHEIM TWP.: A criminal complaint has been filed against Melissa J. Serrano, 20, of Lancaster, following a vehicle accident Dec. 23. A Lancaster man was riding his motorcycle north in the 1500 block of Lititz Pike, when a southbound vehicle turned in front of him, resulting in a collision. The sedan fled the scene, but witnesses provided police with descriptions of the driver and the vehicle, including the license plate.

The motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. At 10:22 a.m., the suspect vehicle was stopped by police in Lower Swatara Township, Dauphin County, and the driver, Serrano, was taken into custody.

She was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, accidents involving death or personal injury, and a traffic violation. She was arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Back on my feet? I've been on them since Thursday. Now I'm hoping to be back in the saddle asap. This is the longest spell I've gone without riding in 8 years.
