Surging at idel when air temp is cold.
I wake up to take the car to work and the car feels weak and idels rough. Once the air temps warm up later in the day the surging only happens randomly and the car drives better. Any ideas?
I am thinking vacuum line. I had one cracked. Could this be it? |

Re: Surging at idel when air temp is cold.
Idle Air Controller cleaning will help. mine surged bad at cold startup/idle. once I cleaned out the IAC with non-chloro brake clean it worked fine. While you are at it, get a can of MAF cleaner and clean ur MAF also

Replace it and see! Otherwise, id first resistance check your coolant temperature sensor and see what it reads before you run your car that day.
