Valve cover gasket

Mine leaks on the passenger side. How hard a job to replace and cost of gasket....can I buy just the valve cover gaskets or part of a complete set?

Dave

Re: Valve cover gasket

I just did mine today actually, was pretty involved. The driver side cover is tricky to put back on without borking the gasket..... there is a small 10mm bolt head that can be removed from the firewall there that makes sliding it back into place easier. It helps attach a small splash guard. Also make sure to get any offending wire harness connectors and wire looms out of the way before re-entry. The pass. side was straightforward. All in all with a lift and shop tools, it took me 3 1/2 hours to do a pretty meticulous job, including the oil change and cleaning the coils. Id give it a 5 on a scale of 1-10 in difficulty.

Look in the How-To Docs under engine. There is a How-To on this.

Re: Valve cover gasket

Another option, if you want to buy them piece by piece.
