JDM Climate Control into USDM Car?
I know it will take some work to mount a JDM climate control into a USDM car, but does anyone know if the electrical connections are available? Thanks!

Re: JDM Climate Control into USDM Car?
Because the sleeker look of the digital controls over the USDM all buttons just, IMHO, not only looks better, but fits the SVX better overall... I dont understand why they didnt have the same controls for the USDM Cars

Re: JDM Climate Control into USDM Car?
It will be impossible because of the mirror image - they are right hand drive and the angle and controls are opposite.

Re: JDM Climate Control into USDM Car?
I've explored this pretty extensively. I think it may be possible to fit the jdm unit as others described by cutting the plastic bezel. The two boards inside are attached by a ribbon cable which would have to be removed and reattached to the different board. It would be a huge undertaking, but I think the right person could probably figure it out.

Re: JDM Climate Control into USDM Car?
That's pretty much how I figured I would mount it. I am planning on painting the wood pieces anyway, so I'm not too afraid of cutting them and bonding them back together. My only worry would be going through all that trouble only to have the electronics not work out...
