they where here all weekend..
at our local dragstrip with 80 degree clear skies all day
and yesterday...
Oh, and guess who made it in the final 16 shootout ?

I disagree, they where nothing but cool all day today..
and really down to earth guys who like drag racing...
the show is what it is and dont see anyone else trying to
put amateur drag racing on national tv....

the show is retarded, and has less to do with drag racing as it does sandbagging, trickery and "negotiating".

i've seen idiots get 10 car lengths on that show.

wtf kind of race is that? if they had best-of-3 heads up races, that might be interesting. if you bring a slow car, tough **** for you. the negotiating crap is ridiculous.

I saw this show for the first time last week. Didn't know what sandbagging was 'til I watched it.

The system for determining whether or not someone is cheating is, em, flawed.

Neat show though. The hosts seem to goad the racers into betting.

Pinks All Out is way more in depth than regular Pinks. THey actually have the racers dial-in their best 1/4 time so they can setup their opponents within tenths or even hundreths of their time. I like All Out better than regular Pinks.

We had a great turn out, people from all of Az and a few states..
they did a Pinks First, the had a fast 8 run off which was cool..
then they picked a 12.5 sec 16 car run off..
Our Soarer made it in the 16 cars, but we lost first round..
it was a great selection of a variety of cars overall though.
Think my car was the only one with AC, stereo still in it.

But it was trying to go back to the street cars to the track theme
too, and it worked.

last time i watched All-Out, every one was sandbagging because there was a rumor that a certain time bracket was the one they were looking for...

I heard there was a '93 mirage there with a 4G63 powerplant that made the final 4. He lost because of a miss shift.

p.s. "all out" is the only version of PINKS actually worth watching....the other variations are kind of silly ("I'm putting up my custom painted helmet"....."let's race snowmobiles"...)

And yes, the Mitsu Mirage made it to the third round, he is a member of AZAWD.org, he mentions your Soarer (the only asian cars who made it)

I agree... All Out is a whole different animal, and I like that it haves a variety of cars racing.

I also agree there's some stupid episodes of Pinks... like the one with the 1988 Olds Delta piece of **** who wanted 10 lenghts.... and of course he lost. But there's some AWESOME episodes like the Tosto brothers with an olds school 67 camaro vs an LS1 2002 Camaro.. the best episode ever.

Congrats and I'll be waiting for the episode to be aired.
