Nope, it's gray leather. The trim isn't the pseudo-suede either, it's more of a vinyl in a lighter shade than the seats.

The car has most everything an LSI has except split rear seat, power seats, sunroof and heated mirrors.

Can you post a pic of the interior in your '96 L model? Are you the original owner or is it possible the previous owner did a gray leather seat swap?

LS-L's and LS-I's were the only one with the suede right? But you could get leather in a LS correct?

it states what your car weighs fully loaded including persons and stowage if i remember correctly. 4400-3600= the weight you can carry.

Looked at your interior:

...and I can honestly say that it's the first L model I've ever seen that has that interior. I've never seen a manually operated leather driver's seat before as well.

Your '96 is awd correct? In the '94/'95 model years, there was an LS model that had leather seats but came in fwd.

She's a '96, manufactured 12/95. I've been told that she's got an odd mix of options for an L. The seats are stock, not covers. Wish I had a build sheet to verify all of the options!

Well, here is some food for thought. My '96 LSI (not an LS-L as noted below) is painted Polo Green. The last three digits on the VIN are 795. I assume there would not be a single paint run from the #300's throught the #700's, but who knows? Some day, the membership needs to put together a new forum. The VIN # forum. Listed by year, from earliest to latest with car details (like color) and location. Similar to what the Lamborghini guys do with the Lamborghini registry (lamborghini registry.com). I'd love to see who has 1996 #'s 794 and 796? If you know, don't keep it a secret!

This info has already started being collected. I've got a web form to register your car information. See http://svx-iw.com/svxiw/registry/ for the form.

I do too. After I swapped out the rear light panel for the JDM Alcyone SVX one, there wasn't any Subaru nameplate on the car. I'm sure most people don't have the slightest idea what it is
