TERMS of SVX

I have owned my 1992 since 1993 , I guess I never paid much attention to the up grades thu the years also the TURBO and the Stage I Satge II can some One explain or list some changes ? I know the Name appeared on the side like in 1994 and cup holders were added and the door lock switch was put on the console. I changed my broken power window driver control now have AUTO up and Auto down. >LOL<

You mean you want to know about factory changes to the car over the years, or mods? For factory stuff, the big things I can think of off the top of my head would be switching from power seat belts to regular in mid-'94, going to the OBDII in '94, the addition of FWD models (also in '94, I believe), and slightly lighter paint on the wheels ('93 or '94?). Hope that's what your looking for.

OBDII = On-Board Diagnostics II. Along with it came other things such as a 3rd O2 sensor & different ECU, among other things. I'm sure others on the site will be able to give you the full details far better than I ever would.

The wheels became lighter in 1994 and after. For information on the different options and other good information, look here.

Changes/Fastest?

Actually the OBDII change was not until 96, I believe and the seatbelt change was during the 94 run as well as the dual airbag install. Some 94's have dual airbags and some have manual seatbelts. A doorlock switch was installed after 92. There were quite a few minor mechanical changes in the later years. Like, the tranny was improved somewhat beginning in 95---I am told by experts. The 97 came with a different grille and smaller tires. As to which is actually the fastest--there is much debate--even on here. My 94 is the fastest of my vehicles. Some of the experts on here can provide more info and actual changes.

the only real change to the ECU for 94 as the addition of the speed limiter.

I had my 92 up to 150 with auto and 5 speed, I don't think it can do it with the 6 speed.

The SVX came with a split fold seat?

Utterly Logical...

Interesting and quite valid syllogism, Subafreak.
