Water in trunk?

Besides moisture in the taillight lenses, I get water in the trunk- where the spare tire is located. A puddle. Anyone address this yet?

i have the same thing happening to me too. i dont know why, but i took some powder and spred it around in the trunk then i sprayed the car with water to find out where the water was coming in. i found that on my car it was coming in through the little holes that are facing the rear bumper towards the back. im gonna try to fill the holes with silicone or something. i guess that the seals they had have gone bad somewhere. let me know what you find out.

I have seen the same thing in a few SVX's....from 1992 to 1996.....I like the idea of spreading the powder around!!

When the same happened in my MX6, I got in the boot and had my brother use the hose on the car...it leaked like a sieve and I got drenched!

:-(

I'd hate to see what you would do for an oil leak.

Careful, James - The US Postal Service may be monitoring this site.

yes i believe there were 5 slots and they are about 3/4 inch around. i dont have the car here its in the shop still so i cant check and know for sure. i have no idea what their for or why they started leaking, before i owned my svx it was hit from behind in a finder bender, the damage was fixed but that could very well be why mine is leaking, in fact it probably is why mine is leaking. all though this has happened to svxs that havent been hit also. so knows, let me know what you decide to do to fix yours though.
