I was just gonna say that

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...I guess in the business world, if an item doesn't sell well, you forget that it ever existed. I think a far better approach would be to say something like "We want to return to the the type of originality and outstanding engineering and design that was featured on our 1992-1997 flagship, the Subaru SVX." Cause thats really when they shied away from any true originality...when the SVX didn't sell.

I hope a new, true to the original SVX comes out of this...without being watered down by the Outback people...mmmmmmmm...

Hey,
If you read the entire thing there is a small paragraph about the sporty venture that is with GM. That was refered to in another post about 6 months ago. The link on that post read that the new design would have something in common with the SVX. Or that it would be reinvented SVX (not necsessarily with the SVX name) So, I guess in a round about way there is a insignificant mention of a sorta SVXesk car in the future (of course it will be 40,000 bucks too). Oh well I will get up tomorrow and ride around in my 92 and pretend it is a 2002. No one seems to know the difference anyway

Wink

So...looks like there's really a new Suby luxury coupe about to be unveiled for 2005. Yup - The AcropoliSVX with all wheel gyro drive. I hear it's got dash controlled adjustable shock abzorbas & slotted discus brakes too!

Ron (the mighty Quinn).
