Exclamation Help me !!!

Hello everyone,

I just have had a problem on my SVX 94', there's a big white smoke under the hood, oil red leaking all over, with a strong burning smell when I have gone back home There is no witness who kindled and the oil temperature does not rise on the counter, it was running well, where is this problem? Help me, please...

Re: Help me !!!

It sounds like you blew either a transmission or a power steering hose. My guess is it's probably the high-pressure steering hose. How is the steering operating?

Re: Help me !!!

Thank you, my SVX is trembling at very slow speed by pulling the steering wheel to the right or left...Do you have a picture of a power steering hose ?

Re: Help me !!!

It comes out of the right hand side of the pump, runs back over the valve cover then drops down to the rack itself behind the engine. You can take it off, take it to a hydro. shop (just about every town has one) and get one made using your ends for about $50US. I know that Subaru swithced somewhere around 94 from a long hard line to a long soft line so they aren't interchangable.
