R&R Oil Pump?

I am putting together an order from SubaruParts.com and wanted to confirm a couple of things. I am replacing my front main seal and the little o-ring on the back of the pump. I am just wondering if I need to buy a new oil pump while I'm in there or are they fairly stout? I have 155k on the odometer. This is what I have so far:

2 14075AA021 Gskt Intake Collector $6.72 $13.44
1 806733030 Oil Seal $6.53 $6.53
1 806919050 O-ring $2.32 $2.33
2 24236AA001 Clip $3.28 $6.56
1 22633AA080 Throttle Sensor Asy $226.28 $226.28

I was thinking of doing the cam seals and caps but thought I'd open it up to see if they were leaking before ordering. As far as the other parts, I am pulling my intake to get to the PVC so I thought I'd order new gaskets. ( I stripped the PCV trying to get it out from the top) And lately at random the car cranks considerably more than usual before starting. I have read that it is probably the TPS though before I order I am going to test it with a multi meter. They must ship this little bugger special as the shipping jumped $20 when I added it.

Am I missing anything?

Re: R&R Oil Pump?

When you have the oil pump out, PLEASE tighten all five phillips head screws as much as you can,
use GREY sealer,
and let it sit overnight untill you start it to let the sealer cure!

OK, Usually they can be tightened just a little!

Re: R&R Oil Pump?

I used to have two, I had a few screws loose.

Thanks for the info as always. Well after reading til I went blind I ordered a temp sensor instead of the TPS. I figured I would try the $20 senor first then bite off the $225 one.

As it turns out this morning I lost a coil pack so I guess it was a good thing I had to place an order.

Thanks again, Dust
