where to look first ? gaz in engine

....the title say it all .

my engine has just been rebuilt and i've notice that the starting is a little more slower than before . maybe it could be the problem ...while starting it sends more fuel ?

define rebuilt first.... Your starter could be starting to crap out on you (no pun intended)

oh yeah second , when i check the oil......theres that stupid smell of gaz
third , when my car run at idle , the oil check light comes on, only at idle
