Both front accels just died.

Hello guys!

Yesterday, I broke both of my front accels.. I was driving the car since about 2000km with them making a funny noise..

Wathever, I drove the car as RWD when engaging the AWD all the way to my CV specialist. (Not really good for the car, I know but really fun..)

Now the car runs perfectly... but one of the accel cut the driver side ABS wire when popping out. The one that goes from the computer to the driver side brake.

All in all, I'm looking for a used one and I want to know if I can change it simply by removing the wheel. Is that a 2feets wire or it goes all the way to the computer. by the way, is someone know if I'll need a special tool to remove the wire?

Many thanks guys!!

The wire goes through the inner fender, and there is a connector in the engine bay.

Which side do you need, I may have one...

You can't just fix the wire? Heat shrink and solder? I bet that would be the cheaper route. $0.02

That's what I was thinking at first. But the wire seems to be OEM twisted and it looks like a big gage... It would be pretty hard to weld.

I will check that out tomorrow. Do you have any pics of the wire you have?

Thanks!
