Rant Of The Day: Idiot Drivers.

Back in the day, the comedian Gallagher did a bit about stupid drivers. I'll paraphrase this.....

Makes me wish I had my "rubber stick-m" dart gun from when I was a kid. You see a driver doing something stupid you shoot thier car with a dart. When the cops see a car with 4, or 5 darts on it they pull them over for being an idiot!

Why does this come up today? I was on my way home from work, when some idiot turns in front of me. Thank God I was in the SVX, as had I jammed on the brakes that hard in my Pinto, they'd have locked & I'd have plowed into this Dodge Intrepid. As it was I invoked the ABS, and jerked the wheel to the left. I replicated the magazines emergency lane change at about 60MPH on a damp road. To top it off the idiot looked at me like I did something wrong!!

My car is Brilliant Red, I had my lights on, and the sun had come back out. How the HECK did they not see me?!?! Especially in the middle of a 1/2 mi of straight road!

Well, funny it must be drive like a freaking retard day. I had a Dodge Intrepid do the same thing today but instead of pulling out and going the way I was going they were turning left (heading the opposite way) and stops dead in the road right in front of me. I was going about 60 - 65 and had to slam on my brakes. I don't have ABS but my car didn't lock. But I left some marks on the road . And he looked at me like i was doing something wrong too. Afterwords I kinda laughed and kept going after I got ever being upset I almost totaled my SVX.

Identical situation to mine. Guy was turning left across my lane, and STOPPED in front of me! Had I been in any other car I own... WHAM-O!

Thank God for the SVX's handling!

hehe they are good cars. I love mine, I just wish people would recognize what kind of danger they put people in by being impatient.

I know me, I'd have gotten out of my SVX, bleeding profusely, and stared assesing the damage to my car. Trying to figure out if I can fix it

People aim to hit me or cause an accident around me. I cannot even count how many stupid acts people have done while I'm in the SVX. That is why I would love to paint the car bright yellow and write CAUTION down the side.

Also why I want an air horn for my car.

Thats because people in Maryland can't drive, I know I've been there. The center and shoulder are not passing lanes ty ! >.>. Not meaning this in a offensive way

i had a honda civic do the same thing to me about a week ago, my front bumper is messed up. so i try to hit them, free bumper and they get the ticket!!!!
