If the claret red is brighter than the bordeaux pearl but darker then the barcelona red ... then yes, it was claret. You work near there? Oh, and no, I wasn't in my SVX; I was in the Imp, my everyday commuter.

But the other two sightings ... I was in an SVX. So I see many other SVXi when in one, and most of the other drivers are completely oblivious. <shrug>

the claret is the color most people call burgundy. some even call it purple. if you remember deja's car from our mt. evans meet; it is claret. as for me working in that area, i do not. but i don't live far from there.

ps - my old school impreza is my daily driver, too!

i saw a red (barcelona or brilliant) heading north on wadsworth at coal mine at about 3:30 p.m. and i was actually driving the polo green! but alas, i did not get any recognition from the other driver.

i saw an identical claret to mine paked outside of fontana sushi vi this evening at 6:45. we just finished eating and i was half-tempted to go back in the restaurant and pester their patrons to find out who it belonged to. i probably would have done it if i was driving my claret today.

my partner saw a liquid silver svx on eastbound c-470 at the i-25 interchange this morning at about 7:20.

White one sans the spoiler drove right by me as I was getting into my car on the east end of Pearl, sounded like they had studded tires. Dont think they saw me.

i saw a pearly heading west on c-470 @ santa fe drive on friday @ 12:45 p.m. then i saw a black svx in the park meadows car toys parking lot at 03:00 p.m.

i saw a black svx passing me at a high rate of speed on pena blvd around 5:10 p.m. unfortunately, i was driving the geo prizm and couldn't catch him.
