Not really, but I figured it would get everybody to read it
So, on my way to MI last week I had a wheel bearing go bad in Indianapolis. I called Subaru at 4:00 on Friday...so they couldn't fix it that night. I called Car-X, and they could fix it, but they didn't have the parts. So, I called Subaru, and the guy was really nice, sold me the bearing over the phone, left it in a box outside of the service "trailer" for me to pick up. So, I got the part, and went to Sears, Pep Boys, and Firestone to see if they'd fix it, but no luck. So, at 7:30 on Sat morning, Car-X agreed to put it in if I would pay for what they would've made on parts, so I bought parts twice. But, I got out of Indy on Sat at about 9:30, headed up to Detroit where my mom caught a flight back to NM at 5:00, and all was good...I think the fronts are making some noise, now. I'll have to wait a couple hundred miles to see if it's more obvious. Grand total: $240. Not too bad, I guess, but definately not what I wanted to spend.

P.S. I had a chance to go against an Audi TT and a Dakota 5.9 RT yesterday at highway speeds. From 75, the TT barely had an edge on me, but I don't know if he was in his optimal gear...I know he was racing me cuz he was waving and he'd slow down to wait for me to catch up and stuff. It was fun. I beat the 5.9 RT, but again, who knows if he was racing
