I'm thinking we should take advantage of the nice summer (finally) weather and maybe get together for a cruise... Waitangi Weekend could be a good option

Cool, I'll have a think about a route for a cruise and post here soon. Since we went north last time (almost 2 years ago ) Maybe we should head south this time... ?

If you want to go south I highly suggest this route (link below) from Botany town centre, we used to blast this one on the bikes (I had an RG500).

You can get possibly the best fish and chips in NZ at Kaiaua or if you want something a bit flasher there is Hotel DuVin near Mangatawhiri.

FYI I think there's the annual Paeroa bike races on the weekend after Waitangi.

done that one quite a few times - even on my push bike (Slingshot MT3) - during a midnight ride with bike club!!

What about heading down to Raglan? I had to go there recently for work and went the back way around behind Huntly. Was a reasonable run. There's a prett good pizza place down there too.

Sounds good, can we wait till Ian (NUTSHL) has the SVX back on the road - he has got gear box / ECU issues that should be fixed in the next couple of weeks - Ian can you tell us more later this week if things are minor?

I am curently in Napier for Art Deco weekend, but will be back in Auckland next week, will check with Ian how he got on .
