Re: update pic.

Great looking car, I'm pretty sure you had pics of this on an other forum with whacked out camber? looks really good how it sits now. What would be the advantage of an ez30 over the eg33? I was under the impression that modding options for the ez30 are still really limited and it's not as sonically pleasing as an eg33.

As stock engines the EZ30R is kinda better. Same power plus variable valve timing (I think), timing chain instead of belt, much lighter weight/smaller size, and just newer in general. But the EG33 would be more mod-friendly and a lot cheaper to get more power out of I'd expect.

I drive both, and the EZ30R has a good top end, the valve timing is good at the top rpms, 10mm lift, inlet closes at 73* ABDC. Compared to the EG33's 7mm lift and closes 54*ABDC but it lacks the Resonate system that boosts the top end of the EG33.
It lacks the strong wide torque curve of the EG33. The 5 speed auto makes up for it a bit, but the EG33 has the best overall performance.

Harvey.

Re: update pic.

What wheels and tires are you running on it? Looks great, sort of like a big brother to my friend's 240SX.

Re: update pic.

+20... Wow. I assume you rolled the fenders, but did you have to pull the rear at all?

my 89 legacy RS , had a jap built motor in it, fuel pump let go and boosted leanout sealed the engine's fate , now have a nice ej20 paper weight and in its place now sits an 'experemental' ej25 with the ej20 sti heads. has done a best of 12.5 with the ej20, hoping for 12.0 with the ej25.
