Rear rotors needed

So... I am here to seek the wisdom of the SVX oracles!

My mechanic says I need new rotors, and he cannot get them... Any ideas?

Also, my SVX came with the service manuals! I am assuming that there are already scans of them around? if you ever want any info from them, I would be happy to scan what you need.

Re: Rear rotors needed

Napa, Advance Auto, and Autozone all have them for like $35 a piece or so.

At least, in the US. (Didn't check locale before replying).

Perhaps you could have someone here buy them for you and ship them.

Except that his rotors are different than ours.

Harvey.
dba has vented and non-vented rear rotors in the US. I met the National Sales director several years ago at SEMA, we have been in touch since, and I always seek him out at SEMA.

No DBA rotors were available at that time here. The rear vented rotors in stock now are the 'gravel' rotors, rotors used in off-road racing with steel wheels. The lug spacing is 5x100. I have two sets of dba Series 4000 redrilled for use on my cars.

The national sales director wants to refer to one dealer, as very few rotors are stocked here. The fronts are also available, series 4000 also. If you want info, let me know, I'll see where it stands.

DBA's webpage link is in my signature .

Check out RACERX4 on Trademe (or check out some of my earlier posts about the guy here in Auckland Peter Smith-West - he has at least 3 sets of rotors).

His mobile is 0277506319 - just let him know that Steve with the red SVX put you on to him - he will post to you.
