I had a big group of fish move into the estuary and I have to be on site because of them. I won't be able to make it. It is the first Fall Colors that I will miss.

All have a fun and safe trip.

Earl, technically you missed last years' as well, and for similar reason IIRC? But you did meet us for dinner at the end, so I guess you still get credit.

Well we just lost a couple there, hopefully everyone else is still encouraged to come out this morning - a lot of work went into this. If anyone should be bailing because of other things going on it should be me - but I can't.

6:15 AM, SAT. @ the "hotspot" (Ocean Shores Public Library parking lot). Raining to beat the band here in Stormy Ocean Shores, WA.

I'm gonna' have to miss Fall Colors (again!), making my record also "perfect inattendance"!

Sorry I could not make it today guys. Other things had to take priority. I will make it one of these days, though. When's the next meet around here?

Troy, We really appreciated the drive and thanks for the hard work that you put into the route. Being from the dry side of the state it is nice to see what color green actually is. Only 2 color cars represented. Kudos to us claret and green spectrum owners!!

Hi guys,
Sher and I, once again, had a wonderful time on a totally awesome drive. Troy, thank you for all your hard work with the route maps and directions. I will definitely include more comprehensive info on the next "Couv" drive. Can't guarantee that there won't be any "mysteries"; however, always with fail-safes, i.e., detailed maps, instructions, triple checked routes and cell numbers.
It was nice to have friends from Canada, Dennis all the way from Calgary, WOW!. I'm serious about the 20th anniversary drive to Indiana. I know that you are, as you have shown your eagerness to drive through the night to attend a meet. Thanks for the pictures from the 10th, they will serve as my inspiration to attend the next one.
Well all, it was fun. Hope to see you on our next Vancouver run. We're thinking a drive to the coast; possibly, sometime in June. Of course, hoping for another drive or event before then.

Hey Guys and Gals,

It was great to meet all of you I hadn't met before and it was a thrill to cruise the great route Troy planned for us. I look forward to seeing the GoPro camera footage! Sorry some people couldn't make it you really missed out, make sure we see you at the next one.

Great to meet my fellow Canadian Dennis who drove all the way from Calgary. I was feeling sorry for him that he had to drive back all that way then remembered he get's to drive back on some of the best SVX roads in the world.

Yes, thanks to everyone. We had a great time, so glad the weather held up. And thanks Troy, Jill had alot of fun chatting with your wife, and I had alot of fun playing games...with your 4 yr. old. She is brutal at that picture finding game, man I'm still shake'n up with the beat down she gave me.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. And thanks for indulging me in my little drive!

Everyone's participation is of course what makes these events so fun and I'm glad we had just as much time to socialize throughout the day as we did to drive.

Pretty crazy how there were 3 Clarets and 3 Greens (of various spectrums)! Of course if Mark and Sher had drove theirs we would have had a Black in the mix too.

Also, I just realized, that only 2 of us were "local" out of the 7 cars, Le from Mukilteo and me from Monroe. Everyone else was from the Vancouvers (BC and WA), Calgary, or Yakima!

So I really appreciate everyone making the long drives just to get to the drive.

And I'm glad several of you at least took advantage by staying somewhere local Friday and/or Saturday night(s).

Looking forward to the next one, probably go with our pattern of the last couple years and wait until June or so and have it down south. But maybe with all the interest and since so many missed this one, we can sneak some other kind of event in before then as well.

P.S. - Erik, Kaylee is ready for rematch any time!
